1. Price- Do your research to see how much others are selling and sell yours accordingly. You don’t want to start too low or too high and then have to relist.
2. Pictures- take pictures that are going to certify your items. This could be a serial number tag or up close picture of the logo.
3. Receipt- If you have it great! Post it. Gives you credibility.
4. Authenticity- if you purchased from the designer then you know that the item is authentic and can furnish a receipt or a serial numbers. If you didn’t then you might want to call or get your item certified you can do this online or in person many department stores will do this.
5. Research- do some research on your item so that you will be able to answer any questions. Ebay tends to attract people with questions.
Shipping
Pack the items in proper boxes with bubble pad if necessary. I can’t stress enough how important it is to get the item to the buyer in the condition you last saw it in. If you don’t take these extra precautions then all you are asking for it a possible message about the item or negative feedback.
Feedback
It’s not necessary to have a lot of feedback when selling a designer item but it helps to have some that way the buyers see you as realible and see that your credibility is there. If you have low feedback, more questions could come up, be established first. I know that everyone starts somewhere but try your luck at selling small items to get established first then move on to big items.
Counterfeit
Don’t try and sell a counterfeit. It’s not worth the time and money it will cost you. If you don’t know the authenticity then you shouldn’t sell it.
